EY

EY's Perth workplace was an integrated fitout in the new Brookfield waterfront development at 9 The Esplanade Perth. It is the first location where the firm's new Work Reimagined workplace strategy has been adopted.

Developed by Greenbox, the Work Reimagined workplace strategy supports new, flexible ways of working, and is intended for application across the firm's Oceania workplace portfolio.

The workplace is designed for diverse activities, mindsets, and connection. It delivers on the firm’s goals related to new ways of working; Indigenous recognition, inclusion, neurodiversity, wellness, and sustainability. It is the first in APAC to achieve a gold rating against their ‘Inclusive Office Design
Checklist’.

The client-facing meeting spaces are reconfigurable, and additional alternative meeting areas within the client facility ensure the firm’s client experience remains tailored and dynamic.

The design incorporates organic materials, shapes, and textures to foster a sense of warmth, calm, and connection to the natural environment.

The firm’s new Work Reimagined strategy introduces four distinct zones on each typical working floor: the Library, the Academy, the Arena, and the Park. Each zone supports a different work style, from quiet focus to active collaboration, grouped intentionally to reduce cognitive load and make it easier for people to find the right setting.

The Arena, shown right, is the central hub for working and provides a sense of energy that is designed to inspire.
