Perisher Police Station

Greenbox embraced the challenge to develop the new police station in the Kosciuszko National Park in Perisher, on a site which is covered in snow for almost half the year.

The project represents another step toward the Perisher Village masterplan.

Our team designed components that could be prefabricated off-site and installed during summer to expedite construction during the summer months and to minimise the site time for trades.

The result is a low-profile contemporary structure that beds itself into the steep hillside - maintaining views to the iconic Our Lady of the Snow church looking down on the valley.

The solution accommodates interview rooms, charge dock, holding cells, office workspace, staff amenities and parking for five cars and seven snowmobiles.
